Neil Prasad is a Shareholder in CBIZ CPAs Attest Services and serves on the CBIZ CPAs Board of Directors. Based in the firm’s Chicago office, he leads the Capital Markets and Food & Beverage industries for the Central Region and collaborates closely with industry leaders across the firm. Neil is a trusted advisor to his closely held, entrepreneurial, and investor-backed private clients. Drawing on prior years of operational experience in the private industry, he helps clients navigate complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, complex debt and equity transactions, stock-based compensation arrangements, cash flow management, financial projections and forecasting.

With more than 29 years of experience, Neil has advised clients on SEC policies, practices and procedures while providing assurance services to both pre-IPO and publicly traded companies. His extensive experience includes guiding organizations through initial public offerings, SPAC and De-SPAC transactions, secondary offerings, comfort letters, reverse mergers, going-dark and going-private transactions, and various SEC reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Neil serves clients across the United States and internationally, providing financial statement audits under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, reviews, agreed-upon procedures, and other attest services.
