Janet is a Shareholder in our Boston office and a member of the company's Not-For-Profit & Education Practice. She has extensive experience providing audit and consulting services exclusively to the not-for-profit industry, including the education, healthcare, human services, and cultural sectors. She manages financial statement audits and offers recommendations on internal controls, operations and accounting issues.
Additionally, Janet has developed expertise in the area of regulatory and reimbursement issues for various types of agencies, including nursing homes, rest homes, continuing care retirement communities, home health organizations, Chapter 766 schools, adult day health centers, social service organizations, and other human service providers. Janet has extensive Single Audit experience, and is a leader in the Firm's Single Audit specialty group. Janet is recognized in the social and human services industry as an expert on regulatory reporting issues and requirements and has been a featured speaker at various workshops and seminars.
