Howard is a Shareholder and leader of the Commercial Business practice for several of our East Coast offices. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in accounting and consulting to his position, he provides a broad range of services to a diverse client base. Howard spends the majority of his time working with clients to improve the organization, structure and profitability of their businesses.
In Howard's role as lead audit and client service partner, he is involved in every phase of the engagement from planning to review of the financial statements. He is a trusted advisor and works closely with clients to help them strategize from a tax, financial and business perspective to achieve their goals. Howard also provides consulting services to help his clients secure financing. In this regard, he works with client personnel to prepare financial projections and financing models, which financial institutions utilize in their approval processes.
Another area of Howard's expertise is in offering guidance on acquisition and due diligence matters as well as the structuring of mergers, acquisitions and buyouts. Since many of his clients have global operations, he works closely with our international tax specialists to create efficient foreign tax plans for both foreign companies coming to do business in the United States as well as domestic companies looking to do business overseas.
